We are very sorry to inform everyone about this after such a great first year, but both coordinators of NOLAcon have left the New Orleans area due to other life commitments. Anyone interested in taking the ball on this convention please contact me at nolacon@nolacon.com.

This year's NOLAcon was big success! We had full tables the entire con and the BI was a lot of fun.

Speaking of the battle interactive the results for the brave adventurers was a complete success and there was only a 20% death rate. There Will Be Blood is being run again at both YeoGaCon and MobiCon on May 17th. Go check it out if you didn't get a chance to play it at NOLAcon.

We plan on making NOLAcon an annual event that will occur the weekend after Mardi Gras. Mardi Gras next year occurs on February 24, 2009 so the next NOLAcon will be February 27th to March 1st.

We just got the prizes from Con Support at WOTC and to our surprise some of the items sent are 4th edition preview items!! Pre-register for games before February 20, 2008 and you will be in the drawing for the prizes. Also as mentioned before, a hero from each table at the battle interactive will be awarded with a prize as well.

Speaking of the battle interactive the final draft has been completed and it is in the hands of the triad. It is an awesome interactive. We play tested it the weekend before last and it was great fun.

Exciting news!! WOTC Convention Support has come through and we will have some freebies to give out to our players.

Based on your performance both role playing and combat oriented in the Battle Interactive the judge at your table will award a table hero some real treasure. Also we will hold a raffle to all pre-convention player sign ups. This is yet another reason to come on down and have a great time.

We are only 4 weeks away at this point and the excitement is mounting. We have decided to cut off player sign-up on Wednesday February 20th. We will still accept walk-ins at the convention, but we can't guarantee a spot at a table.

On another note, we are getting close to finishing the BI which is going be and APL 2 to 14.

We have been given the go ahead to write a Yeomanry Battle Interactive for NOLAcon!! We are currently in the process of writing it so its heads down time for us.

Once we are finished it will still need the Triads final blessing. We feel pretty good and we have strong hopes for its approval. The BI is the climax of some events that have been building over time down south.

We are scheduling this battle interactive round in slot 6 of the games. We had to shuffle some things around, but it worked out nicely. We are very excited and so far the writing has come along very nicely.
